Thanks to a grant from the Washington Council of the Blind, the Evergreen Radio Reading Service is available live on the Internet as a pilot program for registered Washington Talking Book & Braille Library patrons.
The Evergreen Radio Reading Service (ERRS) audio web stream is hosted by Abacast, a web streaming service provider located in Vancouver, Washington. A digital audio signal travels from the ERRS broadcast studios at WTBBL directly to Abacast. Abacast's computers then stream the signal out to the Internet. WTBBL patrons with a computer can listen to the web stream while connected to the Internet.
Each listener needs a user name and password to access the ERRS web stream. To obtain a user name and password, please contact WTBBL by email at radio@wtbbl.org. After receiving your user name and password, use the link at the top of this page to log in. Enter your user name and password in the form and click on "login". This opens a webpage that allows you to connect to the web stream.
