On Thursday, September 13 at 11 AM, Washington State Poet Laureate Kathleen Flenniken will read and discuss her poetry at the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library (WTBBL) at 2021 - 9th Avenue in Seattle!

Refreshments will be served and a special program is planned!

The Washington State Poet Laureate serves to build awareness and appreciation of poetry — including the state’s legacy of poetry — through public readings, workshops, lectures and presentations in communities, schools, colleges, universities and other public settings in geographically diverse areas of the state. The appointed Poet Laureate serves a two-year term, and Kathleen is the Poet Laureate for 2012-2014.
